Mark Lyons

Mark joined Puma Private Equity, in 2023, as an Investment Director.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at PwC, Mark moved into corporate finance advisory before joining a single-family office where he spent over 10 years spearheading the investment activity and operations. In 2018, Mark joined the newly established VC-house Praetura Ventures where as Director of Investments he was part of the senior leadership team that grew the business to over £125m AUM and invested in over 30 fast-growth early-stage businesses resulting in Praetura being widely recognised as one of the leading VCs in the North.

Mark read Political Science at the University of Birmingham. Outside of work he manages a local youth football team, follows Manchester City around Europe and has recently completed both the London and Manchester marathons.
